Czy już czas na wycieczki turystyczne w Ukrainie?

Tak wygląda opis jednodniowej wycieczki po Kijowie proponowanej przez „Visit Ukraine”:

This tour is ideal for guests visiting Kyiv for the first time. In just one day, you can fully understand this city – see all the most famous places, as well as hidden atmospheric courtyards that tourists do not know about. We will drink coffee in the old part of the city, admiring the architecture of the 19th century, visit ancient cathedrals, admire the picturesque views of Kyiv from above, enjoy incredibly delicious local food, shop at the market with products of Ukrainian craftsmen, learn the background of traditions.

Since the beginning of the war, the capital of the country has been the main target of the Russian invaders, which they planned to capture in 3 days. Even without resorting to a terrible journey through the once destroyed puppet satellite cities of Kyiv and villages, after traveling through its streets you understand what an inexpressible misfortune befell our land. It is useless to list the areas in which residential buildings, commercial real estate and infrastructure facilities, schools, kindergartens were destroyed by missiles: these consequences were visible everywhere. You can see the results of the shelling of the shopping center in the Podolsky district, damage to the Holocaust Memorial Center „Babi Yar” and the TV tower near the metro station „Dorohozhychi”, the mutilated facade of the theater „Kyiv Malaya Opera” on Degtyarevskaya. In addition, as a result of the bombardment of the city by the invaders, they also ended up in the radioactive waste disposal site of the Kyiv branch of the Radon Association. In Kyiv, the city authorities and volunteers urgently resorted to the protection of sculptures and monuments, architectural structures of great historical and cultural significance for the planet as a whole. In particular, protective structures were erected around the monuments to St. Vladimir on the slopes of the Dnieper, Bohdan Khmelnitsky, Petro Sahaydachny, Taras Shevchenko and Mikhail Grushevsky (near the University). The Samson Fountain, the sculptural composition on Mikhailovskaya Square (Princess Olga, Andrew the First-Called and the educators Cyril and Methodius), the monument to Dante Alighieri and the monument and column of Magdeburg Law were protected with sandbags. And you will not see the stained-glass windows of the Funicular, famous for their beauty – they are covered with shields. Also, the construction of roadblocks and defensive fortifications, especially on the outskirts of the city, has become a familiar feature of the capital’s landscape: concrete blocks, sandbags and anti-tank hedgehogs.

O wycieczkach turystycznych w Ukrainie organizowanych w obecnym czasie wojny zrobiło się głośno za sprawą artykułu: This travel company wants tourists to visit Ukraine right now. Bardzo krytycznie w tej sprawie wypowiedział się prof. Ernst Führich, który stwierdził, że organizacja takich wyjazdów jest niemoralna.
